For school classes
Our guided tours for classes up to 7th grade are
developed specifically for each age group, with an emphasis on autonomous
learning, discovering, experimenting, and arts and crafts. In addition
the Children's Museum offers guided tours to topics and exhibits of
local historical interest in the Historical Museum.
What’s under the city?
An interactive exhibition for Kids 6 years and older
until February, 7th 2010
Guided tour through the world below the city streets. The children explorer all aspects of life under the surface. Our theme rooms range from biology to geology, from earth worms to earth sediments. You can dig for buried treasures, or take a trip through the canal or subway systems of Frankfurt. Learn about people who work under ground for a living and how they keep the world moving above.

"Getting to know our City"
A tour through the Old-City of Frankfurt. Main topics are the founding
of the city, its history and importance as the city of trade fairs,
imperial conventions and coronations. Starting point is the Historical
Museum, where a model of the Old-City and the imperial insignia are
shown. From there the tour leads to the Cathedral, archeological excavations
in front of the Cathedral, the Ciy Hall (Roemer), and the Imperial Hall.
Attention: Viewing of the Imperial Hall cannot be guaranteed!
Effective for all tours:
Admission: 3.- Euro p. person (also applies to accompanying
persons)
Approximate duration: 2 hrs. (pre-school: 1 hour)
Group size: max. 25/ min. 10 pupils

Early notification for guided tours with classes is requested!
Attention: Appointment changes or tour cancellations at least
two days prior to appointment results Failure to notify results in a
cancellation fee of 35,- Euro.
